SmartVest® as a “lifesaver” allowing user to sleep through the night
 

For five years William H. struggled with a constant cough. “I was never able to rest during the night,” William said. It was just a year ago that he discovered the SmartVest® Airway Clearance System while hospitalized with pneumonia.  His doctor had him try the SmartVest® in the hospital, hoping to solve his problem. Now 71 years old, William is able to do things that were never possible before using the SmartVest®. William’s wife, Vonnell, stated, “The SmartVest® did for him what he wasn’t able to do himself. Without the SmartVest®, William would be restricted from doing the things that he enjoys most in life. With the help of the SmartVest®, William is able do yard work, go walking at the track, and go out for dinner at restaurants. “People would glare at him when he was in public because his cough was so terrible.  They would assume it was something contagious and that would really discourage him,” said Vonnell. “Now we don't have to worry about that anymore.”

Today, William is a strong supporter and promoter of the SmartVest®, “Friends and family quickly noticed that I wasn't coughing and would ask me what I did to cure the constant cough that they were used to hearing.” His wife said, “Everyone on our street knows about the SmartVest® and he tells each and every one of them about it with excitement. It has absolutely improved his quality of life.”
